Turning your mind
and moving forward
Introduction
Established in 1954, the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong (MHAHK) aims at promoting and advocating the importance of mental health education while providing mental and psychological rehabilitation services.
The MHAHK started offering clinical psychological services in 1999 bringing emotional relief to those who are psychologically distressed. Presently, a professional team has been set up to provide face-to-face counseling service, in addition to the existing telephone counseling service, to help clients overcome mental and psychological problems through professional enquiry, assessment, counseling and psychotherapy.
In 2009, the MHAHK further expands its counseling services by setting up the T.N.Foo Centre for Positive Mental Health, which is dedicated to provide a variety of counseling and training services in relation to mental health.
